WAEC Releases Results for First Computer-Based WASSCE for Private Candidates

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the results of its pioneering Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (CB-WASSCE) for Private Candidates. The announcement was made on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the council’s headquarters.

This groundbreaking examination, which represents WAEC’s first fully computer-based assessment for the WASSCE private candidates category, was conducted between Wednesday, January 29, 2025, and Saturday, February 15, 2025. The examination took place at designated computer centers across the country, marking a significant technological advancement in WAEC’s assessment methods.

These are Procedures on How to Check Your 2025 First Series CBT WAEC GCE Result

Candidates who participated in the CB-WASSCE can now check their results through the following methods:

1. Visit the official WAEC website at www.waecdirect.org
2. Enter your examination number and other required credentials
3. Submit the information to view your results
4. Print or save your result slip for future reference
