The Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) is a national examination body approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria, coordinated by the University of Lagos, that offers a 9-month advanced level program leading to direct entry into 200 level university courses.
JUPEB 2025: Is JUPEB form out for 2025
JUPEB 2025/2026 Registration has commence since 13th of March, 2025 and closes very soon. The JUPEB Programme for 2025/2026 academic session in which the resumption and lectures will start fully as from July, 2025, is still opened fully for registration and students are urged to take advantage of this registration period.
It’s very important for you to note that we’re affiliated with ACCREDITED PRIVATE CENTRES that run JUPEB programme and not UNIVERSITY CENTRES. The advantages of registering with PRIVATE CENTRES are:
- Private centres are not affected by ASUU strike which implies that private centres are very much in session at the moment.
- Private centres are less expensive compared to what you’ll pay if you were to enroll in a university offering JUPEB A’Level programme.
- Private centres are more dedicated to their students unlike university centres where their dedication is mostly to the undergraduates rather than JUPEB students.
- Enough time to receive lectures as private centres start their academic session earlier than university centres for which the final examination will be written at the same time.
- Private centres give you the opportunity to pay in installment with minimum of N180,000 (N20,000 for acceptance fee and N160,000 as part payment for school fees) unlike most university centres where you’ll be paying much and you’re expected to pay all your fees at once).
- Private centres follow up their students welfare up to the admission just to ensure they are admitted into their preferred institutions.
How much is JUPEB 2025/2026 Registration school fees
The total school fees for JUPEB program is N355,000 which varies for some centres in Lagos, Abuja e.t.c.. The Registration fee is N15,000 only and can be paid using any of the available channels.
Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board is a programme approved by Federal Government of Nigeria that candidates who passed the exam can use to gain admission into 200 level in combination with Direct Entry form into any of the lists of JUPEB affiliated universities in Nigeria and abroad.
The programme which is coordinated by the University of Lagos is a year programme divided into two sessions of First Semester and Second Semester.
JUPEB serves as an alternative to gain admission into 200 level in Nigerian universities and some foreign varsities.

JUPEB result can be used in any of the JUPEB universities after being through with the programme in September 2026 irrespective of where candidates have done the programme.
